During our travels around this big wide country of ours, Australia, I have marveled at the ever changing spectacular landscapes out of the car windscreen. As we have meandered from state to state and town to town I have captured some of these dramatic changes in scenery with my camera through the car windscreen. Hence, the CB radio antenna which appears in most shots!
Here is just a sample of what we have encountered so far through four states, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. I hope you enjoy them.
Three Different States

Southern Forests

New South Wales Bridges

The Countryside

The Nullarbor Plains

Whoever said that the countryside in Australia is unchanging and boring is completely wrong and the above photos are proof of this. What a magnificent country we live in!

June 13, 2014Heather I am so glad you are enjoying my travelogue of Australia. It has certainly exceeded my expectations and most days a new adventure unfolds before my eyes. You are right we are having a fabulous adventure and I’m not sure how I will ever adapt to returning back home.

June 14, 2014I didn’t think I would enjoy the long distances of travel by car that we are doing, but I have to admit most of the scenery has been interesting. Enjoy your trip to Mackay – I’ve only driven through there once about 30 years ago.

June 16, 2014Yes they turned out better than I thought they would and definitely looked more interesting once I melded them together. The biggest problem is that our windscreen tends to get very dirty and dusty so the photos are a little flawed. But I will definitely endeavor to bring more shots of the changing landscapes on the remainder of our trip.

June 16, 2014Aw gee thanks Pinky. I don’t particularly feel that talented but I thought it might be interesting to put the photos together to show the variety of landscapes that we have witnessed on our long spells or driving. Sometimes I took the photos out of pure boredom!
